1987년 오션 소프트에서 애플IIe 전용으로 개발한 플레툰 게임이다.
시작부분 부터 일라이어스 하사의 명장면이 애플IIe 특유의 그래픽으로 표현된다.
대부분 유명한 영화를 게임화 하면 아주 괴랄스러운 게임이 나오곤 하는데, 역시 이번 게임도 괴랄스뤄운 게임이다. 그래도 최초의 영화 기반 게임이자 한 기종을 넘어서 북미 게임계 자체를 통째로 말아먹은 여러 의미로 기념비적인 ET 보다는 굉장히 훌륭하다.
