세계정복을 꿈꾸는 악의 집단이 타임머신을 이용해 세계 역사를 바꾸려 하는데, 이를 위해 1940년대로 돌아가 추축국을 군사 지원함으로써 2차 세계대전의 결과를 바꾸려 한다. 주인공은 이를 저지하려는 집단의 일원으로, 마찬가지로 타임머신으로 과거로 돌아가 유럽 전선에서 적과 전투를 벌인다는 내용.

전장은 2차원 횡스크롤 맵이며, 맵의 맨 오른쪽에 아군의 타임머신이, 맨 왼쪽에 적군의 타임머신이 배치되어 있다. 이 타임머신을 통해 전차, 자주식 대공 미사일, 보병, 공병, 파괴공작원(밴) 등의 병력을 지원받을 수 있으며, 적 역시 똑같은 병력을 타임머신을 통해 내보낸다.

단, 플레이어가 직접 조종할 수 있는 유닛은 헬리콥터 한대 뿐이다. 나머지 유닛들은 소환만 가능할 뿐, 일단 소환되면 맵을 수평으로 움직이며 적진을 향해 전진한다. 적 유닛과 아군 유닛이 조우하면 전투가 벌어지며, 당연히 지상에서는 전차가 가장 강하지만 보병은 맵에 군데군데 배치되어 있는 벙커에 들어가 싸울 수 있을 뿐 아니라 헬기에 탑승이 가능하여 빠른 이동이 가능하다(낙하산으로 공수투하도 가능하다). 대공 미사일은 오직 헬리콥터를 견제하기 위한 유닛이며, 일회용이라 미사일 발사와 동시에 소멸한다. 파괴공작원은 밴에 탑승하고 있는데, 다른 전투력은 전혀 없지만 타임머신을 파괴할 수 있는 유일한 유닛으로 게임의 승리에 필수적이다.

헬리콥터는 고정식 대공포대와 자주식 대공 미사일을 제외한 모든 유닛에 대해 압도적인 전투력을 발휘하며, 기관총과 미사일, 폭탄을 장비하고 있는 강력 전투 헬기이다. 다만 헬기의 모든 무장은 탄수 제한이 있으며, 모두 소모하면 타임머신 옆의 정비장에 착륙하여 보급을 받아야 한다.

헬기는 제법 튼튼하지만 적의 사격에 손상을 입는다. 공병을 헬기에 태우고 있을 경우 손상이 서서히 회복되는데, 탄약까지 회복되는 것은 아니기 때문에 어차피 재보급을 받아야 한다.

적 또한 플레이어의 것과 꼭같은 능력을 가진 헬리콥터를 갖고 있으며, 때문에 대공 미사일을 잊지 말고 파견해야 한다.

적 타임머신을 파괴공작팀이 파괴해 맵을 클리어하면 다음 맵으로 넘어가며, 이런 식으로 유럽 전역에서 적을 격퇴하면 게임에서 승리할 수 있다.
